Prisons fall short in Straight Sets to Zamalek

Defending champions Zamalek look well for title defense with a comfortable 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-23) win over Kenya Prisons in Pool B.

Zamalek and Prisons are two of the top female teams and showed it in this competitive match.

Both teams test each other out in the first set trying to find spaces in the back court and scoring with powerful cross court hits. The first set was neck and neck until Zamalek ran away with it, winning the set 25-23.

The second set was not of a big trouble for the reigning champions killing it at 25-17.
This was a crucial set for Prisons if they were to remain in the game. Zamalek put the Kenyans on the back foot, finally secured the set 25-23.
