The city of Kampala, Uganda, is buzzing with excitement as the 2025 CAVB Zone V Club Championship gets underway. This high-level competition brings together the best men’s and women’s teams from the region, all vying for the prestigious title.
First Matches: A Thrilling Opening
On the opening day, in the women’s category, KCB (Uganda) dominated TPVC (Tanzania) with a resounding 3-0 victory (23-07, 25-11, 25-10).
Several other matches are scheduled for February 27, 2025, including the clash between Prisons and KCB-Nkumba at Lugogo, as well as the match between VVC and APR at Old Kampala.
In the men’s category, the much-anticipated showdown between Rukinzo (Burundi) and Jeshi Stars (Tanzania) will take place at Old Kampala. Additionally, exciting encounters between Cobra and APR, KAVC and Prisons, UCU and REG, and Police and Nemo are also on the schedule.
