Abuja Nigeria, April 5, 2025 – KCB secured a comfortable win against Sococim to reaffirmed their position in the championship, beating them 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21).
KCB scored the first three points to cement an early lead. SOC came back and narrowed the gap. Every point KCB scored brought a deafening thunder. Clever tips and angled spikes kept the points coming for the 2022 winners, as they killed it at 25-20.
Excellent defensive work from both teams kept the rallies going. At 15-15 it became point for point trades and then KCB broke free for two set points, to win it 25-18.
These teams were so close. Again it was point for point trading of spikes and tips. A number of SOC hitting faults gave KCB the advantage. SOC were straight back in the set after two KCB hitting faults. It was 18 all, then two more points and it was deafening as KCB win 25-21.
