
Mayo Kane Evolution of Cameroun shocked consistent championship outfit APR 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-19) to register their first win after losing 3-0 to NCS on day one.
MKE came from behind to earned a famous victory against a team that always resist, with far more experience in the championship.
APR took the first point and a number of errors from MKE put APR firmly in front. APR led 15-10 and MKE had little answer were finally put out of their misery when APR closed the set 25-19. MKE regrouped themselves to picked up with good blocks and level the matters 25-18.
APR were in trouble in the ensuing sets again as MKE pushed on confidently to countered APR spikes and there were good pickups from both teams as they fought for the last few points. APR made a late comeback but, in the end, it was a clean 3-1 sweep, the last set 25-21 to MKE.
