
Kenya Pipeline contained pressure to avoid a setback after nearly falling short, however regrouped to beat a Litto team 3-1 (25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21) to secure a quarter final berth.
There was a series of beautiful rallies as players attacked from the serve, all racking up points. KPC look sharped after a tussle for points, super spiked at set point for a 25-20 win for KPC.
It was much closer in the beginning of the 2nd set. LTV came out narrowly on top. Quick attacks and well-crafted blocks help KPC draw level. KPC pulled ahead 17-13. A monster block from LTV showed their fighting spirit, but KPC closed the set out 25-18.
LTV piled on the pressure and KPC seemed to run out of steam, good spiking and an ace helped give LTV an 14-7 lead, LTV was on fire and an unfortunate KPC fault at the end of the set gives LTV the win in the third set 25-23.
KPC stormed out of the gate, thanks to some very strong servings. Knowing what is on stake, KPC sealed it at 25-21.
